CHARIOT ENERGY — Bright Nights 8

Rejected We left this plan off our honest list. Here's exactly why.

TIME OF USE

Time-of-use — the rate spikes during certain hours; most homes pay more.

BASE CHARGE

Charges a flat monthly base fee on top of the rate — it quietly raises your real cost, and hits low-usage months hardest.

What it actually costs at different usage

Average price per kWh at three usage levels. An honest fixed plan is nearly flat. Watch how the effective rate moves.
